Tamar Kodish, PhD is a licensed clinical psychologist, Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience, and a Faculty Fellow at the Crown Institute. Tamar’s research focuses on community-partnered strategies to improve access, quality, and responsiveness of mental health services for marginalized youth and young adults with depression, anxiety, and suicidality. She is deeply invested in strengths-based, community-engaged research that centers youth and family voices and explores nontraditional mental health delivery paradigms, such as digital mental health and peer-to-peer support. At the Crown Institute, she is involved with the Mindful Mood Balance for College Students project.
