The Crown Institute is proud to offer two named scholarships to support CU students who are committed to the Crown Institute’s mission and involved in either its research or programmatic work: the Baer Endowed Crown Institute Scholarship and the Draizin Crown Institute Scholarship.
These scholarships were established by generous community members who wish to encourage students as they consider careers in supporting the mental health and wellness of children and young adults.
CU students who are actively involved with the Crown Institute — including fellows, research assistants, volunteers, and co‑designers — are automatically considered.
Awards are determined each fall semester in partnership with the CU Scholarship office, based on students’ FAFSA information. Scholarships are granted for one academic year with the possibility of renewal.
If you have questions, please contact Education & Outreach Program Manager Michelle Shedro.
“Receiving this scholarship has not only boosted my confidence and motivation to keep working hard, but it has also been a great reminder of where I have come from in terms of experience and knowledge. The Renée Crown Wellness Institute has taught me so many valuable skills that I will carry with me into future careers.”
