Soraya De La Oliva

Student Voice and Leadership Council Member, Student Flourishing Initiative

Soraya is an undergraduate student at the University of Colorado Boulder, majoring in neuroscience and psychology with minors in public health and biochemistry. As a member of the Student Voice and Leadership Council at the Crown Institute, she collaborates with peers to advocate for and enhance student mental health both on and off campus. She currently serves as a research assistant in the Lowry Lab and as the Lead Education and Social Change Student Coordinator at the Center for Cultural Connections and Community. Soraya is passionate about bridging the gap between science and social justice, focusing on reducing mental health disparities among underrepresented populations and exploring how intersectionality shapes the human experience.
