Emily has spent over 30 years connecting organizations to the audiences they depend on for their success. She’s worked with hundreds of leaders and their teams, as a corporate brand leader at Nike, a cross-sector strategic communications consultant and an author. In all of these contexts, she has met organizations as they sit on the cusp of something new. She joins the Crown Institute as a Scholar in Residence, to accelerate the Institute’s reach while pursuing interdisciplinary inquiries at the intersection of strategic communications and social impact. In this work, she’ll draw from her wide-ranging work in human rights, education, public health, natural resource management, and coalition-building, alongside her MSc in Human Rights and Women’s Studies from the University of London.
