Diego is a Psychology and Anthropology major pursuing a certificate in Tibetan & Himalayan Studies. He is a research fellow at the Renée Crown Wellness Institute, where his work explores the psychology of human flourishing, mindfulness, and culturally informed mental health interventions for Hispanic populations.

His research interests include meditation and mindfulness, meaning, and the integration of non-Western belief systems into modern psychological frameworks. As a member of the Student Voice and Leadership Council, Diego seeks to bring a research-informed perspective on positive psychology and human flourishing, along with leadership experience across multiple student organizations, to conversations about student success, well-being, and mental health policy at a campus-wide level.
