Compassion Cultivation Training™ (CCT™) for Educators is an eight-week series offered in partnership with the Compassion Institute and taught by our Crown Institute team of certified CCT™ instructors.
It’s based on a series for the general public that’s taught around the world, with proven results in supporting wellness, health, and happiness. CCT™ for Educators draws upon that proven impact to address the joys and struggles of teaching and leading with compassion in schools.

The course draws on insights and techniques from psychology, neuroscience, and contemplative practice, integrating evidence-based meditations, interactive discussions, and lectures as well as real-world exercises to put learning into practice.
This series offers practical skills, tools, and knowledge. Educators learn to relate to themselves, others, and the world from a place of greater understanding, joy, and purpose.

From administrators to teachers, schools to districts to education organizations across the country, those participating in CCT™ cover a broad spectrum. But they all have one thing in common: a dedication to bettering the education experience for all, one step at a time, always with compassion and humanity.

“When I took the course, I don’t think there were any other science teachers that were in the course with me. Now I see the Cultivating Compassion course as being fundamentally useful to any teacher in a classroom. But when we look at science specifically — compassion training is so absolutely critical for science educators."
